- THE SAN DIEGO COLLECTION While the O-110 is a relatively common variety, listed as Rarity-2, this beautifully toned and semi-Prooflike MS64 ranks squarely in the Condition Census for the die marriage. Flashy, brilliant luster radiates boldly on both sides. The surfaces are icy smooth, with a sleek look that brings the peripheral blue-green tone at the rims, melding into a fiery crimson, and finally golden-brown centers. The eye appeal is excellent for the MS64 level, and were it not for some very minor slide marks on the cheek, this coin would have likely graded a full GEM grade. Ex Heritage, June 2014, lot 3905. PCGS 35, NGC 74 (all varieties). The current PCGS Price Guide value is $3,000 but with its outstanding looks, we can see it bringing more; when it sold in 2014, it brought $4,700. Scarce finer. This is a wonderful and affordable example for any collector looking for a great looking Capped Bust half dollar. Cert. Number 46263210 PCGS # 39764
