Lot Description

A very scarce date for this die variety that continues to grow in popularity and amongst registry set collectors. The die was lapped to remove heavy die clash marks and in the process part of the design was obliterated. Die striations are easily seen where the third feather used to be - a result of this lapping/polishing. This is tied with one other example at PCGS for the finest known for the variety, but this remains the only CAC approved one.
