Tompkins Commentary:</strong> I owned this coin for more than 20 years, during most of which time I searched in vain for an upgrade in AU. When I finally succeeded, this EF-40 continued to occupy a place of distinction in my set as a really nice 1835 B-7. The time has come for me to allow another collector to enjoy it.
