- 1795 Washington Liberty and Security Halfpenny. Baker-31B, W-11010. Rarity-5. BIRMINGHAM Edge. MS-62 BN (PCGS). 127.6 grains. Edge: PAYABLE AT BIRMINGHAM REDRUTH OR SWANSEA. Deep golden-brown with soft underlying luster. Some central striking weakness present, almost a given for the design type. A few light marks come into view under low magnification, but the naked eye appeal is strong nonetheless.
