Description du lot: Blazing and brilliant, this SUPERB GEM is as fresh, RED and lustrous as it was the day it came off the dies nearly 100 years ago! It possesses an honored spot at the top of the PCGS Population Report, with NONE finer. Sharply struck devices stand out against very smooth, defect free surfaces. Satiny red luster blooms all over with hints of magenta, orange, and rose hues. A strong glass reveals a few minute traces of contact, none of which detract from the exceptional eye appeal, and no doubt this coin will be a welcome addition to any high ranking Registry Set collection.
