Lot Description

Another untoned, lustrous AU.  The mysterious “bar dot” adjoins the lower loop of the 6 in the date.  Wispy hairlines fail to interrupt the cartwheel luster.  Acquired in a trade with Dr. Charles Link in January 2013.  Link found the coin some years earlier in a Bowers & Merena auction.   Estimate: $400 to $500
