This is an unquestionable SUPERB GEM 1888 PR 5C! Smooth surfaces are devoid of any distractions. Deep and fully reflective, and possess just the lightest dusting of original pastel iridescent toning. The eye appeal is exceptional. PCGS 8, NGC 14. Only two coins are graded finer at PCGS, both PR67+. The current Collector's Universe value is listed at $2,700 and the most recent example to sell in auction realized $2,040 in December 2017. Seems too cheap and a great value at this level.
