Die State 110.5. A popular <em>Guide Book</em> variety, the 1823 O-110a takes it name from the misshapen digit 3 in the date that began with a spindly die crack from the lower obverse border that eventually developed into chipping at the back of the 3. The present example is a bright and flashy Choice AU with ample remnants of frosty luster to brilliant surfaces. Boldly to sharply defined overall.
