A lovely SUPERB GEM 1927 dime that is TIED FOR FINEST at NGC. Satiny smooth surfaces are essentially pristine with no visible marks or ticks of any kind. Highly lustrous surfaces have a bold satiny frost that accents a delicate blush of pastel iridescent patina that adorns both sides of this crisply struck Mercury dime. PCGS 6, NGC 2. Neither NGC coin has sold in auction, but a PCGS MS67+ FB CAC sold in May 2022 for $5,520. There has not been an NGC MS67 FB sold in auction since April 2007.
