1854-D Liberty Half Eagle. Winter 30-X. Large D. EF-45 (NGC). Deep gold surfaces with somewhat darker toning in the recesses. An old, thin scratch is noted above the eagle on the reverse. A satisfying example from the Dahlonega Mint for the grade.
