Lot Description

1802 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. BB-241, B-6. Rarity-1. Narrow Date. AU-50 (PCGS). Handsome pewter gray patina throughout, both sides with subtle olive outlines to many of the devices. Plenty of sharp striking detail remains, the surfaces also offering faint remnants of satiny mint luster and a pleasingly smooth appearance in hand. Although BB-241 is a plentiful die marriage in an absolute sense, the Draped Bust dollar as a type is scarce in such attractive AU preservation, especially from a market availability standpoint.
