Losbeschreibung: 1903 Barber Quarter. Proof-68 (NGC). CAC. This is an incredible Top Pop Ultra Gem Proof from the turn of the 20th century. A particularly vibrant display of rainbow colors glows on the reverse, with a bloom of tangerine, magenta, and sapphire blue that gets richer at the borders. The obverse is more lightly toned in golden-bronze shades that showcase the pristine surfaces. Satiny and rich frosting across the devices is framed by significant reflectivity in the fields, undoubtedly approaching a full Cameo designation. Technically superior and awe-inspiring to examine under a light source. It ranks among the very finest known from this mintage of 755 Proofs, and not a single coin has been graded finer by NGC or PCGS in this designation. This also represents the sole example approved by CAC at the Proof-68 level across all services.
