1913 Barber Half Dollar. MS-66 (PCGS). CAC. Among Mint State 1913 half dollars, a very small percentage of the mere 188,000 business strikes produced have been certified above the Choice level. At the Premium Gem level, this elusive Philadelphia issue is undeniably a condition rarity. The present MS-66 example has a light silver foundation with soft golden-rose overtones on the obverse, the reverse is essentially brilliant with just a bit of crimson at selected border areas. Well-defined with only minor softness on the eagle's arrows-clutching claw and fletchings. Population: 7; 4 finer (MS-66+ finest). PCGS# 6527. NGC ID: 24NK.
