Lot Description

With a very attractive, iridescent toning that lightly covers both sides, this totally original, near-GEM 1916-D half is a great example of this early date Walker. Offering a bold satin frost that underlies the toning, the eye appeal is really nice for the date and grade. PCGS 604, NGC 371, CAC 61. The last two examples sold in auction for $1,116 and $1,146 in June 2017 and February 2016 respectively--the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $1,350.
