Description du lot: 1903 Indian Cent. Proof-67 RB (PCGS). CAC. Misplaced Date. Deep green-gold and olive-brown color gives way to even more vivid reddish-gold and orange iridescence on the reverse as the surfaces dip into a light. This is an attractively original, expertly preserved survivor from a mintage of 1,790 Proofs. According to Rick Snow (2014) only a single die marriage is known for this issue, and it is a Misplaced Date variety with traces of an errant 03 in the denticles below the primary digits.
