1827 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-131. Rarity-2. Square Base 2. MS-61 (NGC). Minimally abraded and uncommonly smooth for the assigned grade, this mostly brilliant example would do nicely in a Mint State type set. Subtle golden apricot highlights are tightly confined to the lower obverse and upper reverse borders. Sharply, if not fully struck throughout.
