1885 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. WB-101. Proof-63 (NGC). Highly reflective in the fields when observed with the aid of a strong light, such viewing angles also call forth the most vivid toning in pale rose, antique gold and powder blue. Warmer patina in medium copper, cobalt blue and rose-gray dominates at indirect angles. Uncommonly attractive for the assigned grade, and sure to sell for a premium bid. Mintage: 930 Proofs.
