1834 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-106. Rarity-1. Large Date, Small Letters. MS-64 (PCGS). Lustrous satin surfaces are dressed in soft iridescent toning of champagne-gold and silver-gray. Boldly defined overall with an expectably smooth appearance for the assigned grade. Just shy of Condition Census for this interesting die pairing, which has a large, crude digit 4 punched over a small 4 in the date. Provenance: From the Huber Collection. PCGS# 6165.
