1652 Massachusetts Bay Colony Pine Tree Threepence. Noe-36, W-640. Rarity-4. Without Pellets. Good-4. 15.43 grains. Deep steel-gray. The obverse is completely smooth save for some bold tree detail, while the reverse is sharp enough that a grade of Fine-12 should apply. Reverse rim through legends around the entire circumference. Clipped in places. A coin that should be seen to be appreciated. PCGS# 45366. Provenance: Paper envelope with attribution notes included.
