1882-CC Liberty Head Half Eagle. Winter 1-A, the only known dies. EF-40 (PCGS). With warm honey-orange patina to boldly defined, appreciably lustrous surfaces, this richly original example would do equally well in a mintmarked gold type set or specialized collection of Carson City Mint half eagles.
