- 1802 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. BB-241, B-6. Rarity-1. Bowers Die State III. Narrow Date. AU-58 (NGC). CAC. This is a charming example that is sure to see spirited bidding among high-grade type collectors. With bright, virtually brilliant surfaces that retain near-complete satin luster, this coin presents much nicer than some low-end Uncs that this cataloger has seen for the 1802 BB-241 Dollar. Minimal wear has also had little effect on the devices, which remain bold-to-sharp in detail from a nicely executed strike. There are no significant abrasions, and light rose-apricot peripheral toning is only readily evident along the lower and left-reverse borders. A concentration of light adjustment marks near the upper-right border on the same side are as struck; we mention them solely for accuracy's sake. Outstanding quality and eye appeal at the assigned grade level!
