Lot Description

1876 Liberty Quarter Eagle. MS-64 (NGC). Frosty and lustrous deep golden surfaces with a bold array of deep, fiery orange toning. Raised horizontal die bar on Liberty's jawline, a diagnostic of this relatively low-mintage issue. Only 4,176 examples of the date were struck. Choice for the grade with a nearly complete strike on both sides. PCGS# 7824. Provenance: From the Reverend Paul L. Harwell Collection.
