1822 N-3 R2 PCGS graded AU55, CAC Approved.Glossy medium chocolate brown and steel with frosty tan faded down from mint color in protected areas. The surfaces are smooth and free of notable contact marks. E-MDS. The tiny lump over the left foot of the A in STATES is clear and faint radial die flowlines are just starting to form off the dentil tips. Die bounce has created double, triple, and a few quadruple outlines on many elements in the wreath and the legend outside the wreath. Graded AU50 by Del Bland and Bill Noyes, Noyes photo #22122. Our grade is EF45+, close to AU50.A sharp cent that has great eye appeal. And it comes with a nice provenance. The attribution and Twin Leaf Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. Estimate Value $1,600 - UP
