"1789" Mott Token. Breen-1025. Thin Planchet. Engrailed Edge. EF-40. 106.48 grains. Deep golden-brown with varied golden-tan highlights. Obverse glossy and smooth to the naked eye, die cud at upper corner of regulator as often seen, slightly off-center, rim engages the legend from 3 to 6 o'clock, no serious marks present, reverse rim engages the legend from 6 to 11 o'clock, central planchet marks present when struck, no serious circulation marks present. All told, a visually pleasing example of this scarce variety. PCGS# 607. Provenance: Paper envelope with attribution notes included.
