FROM THE YOUNG-DAKOTA COLLECTION This is a wonderfully original GEM example of a Matte Proof Lincoln cent. The needle sharp details are bold, rendered from a crisp blow from the dies. The surfaces show touches of iridescent color on both sides, giving this GEM a great look. PCGS 61, NGC 27, CAC 15. This is the only 65+ BN graded by either service, and it sold in September 2016 for $2,233; that is more than what even PR66 BNs have sold for.
