1855 Gold Dollar. Type II. MS-60 (NGC). 1843-D Liberty Quarter Eagle. MS-60 (NGC). An evenly patinated, medium-gold example that would fit nicely into a BU type set. The strike is sharp in all areas save for the central reverse -- a rather common attribute in an example of the conditionally challenging Type II gold dollar. Neither side reveals any sizeable or otherwise individually distracting abrasions.
