1882 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. Proof-67 Cameo (NGC). A delightful specimen with mottled toning that is most vivid around the peripheries. The devices are fully struck, satiny in texture, and contrasted nicely against reflective fields. This is a significant condition rarity from a Proof mintage of 1,100 coins, most survivors of which grade no finer than Choice. Ideal for inclusion in a top-flight type set where an example of the Motto Liberty Seated half dollar is required. Provenance: From the Dazzling Rarities Collection.
