Lot Description

1811/10 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-101. Rarity-1. AU-50 (PCGS). The focal features are overall sharply defined, particularly on the reverse where the eagle's plumage is crisply delineated in the near-absence of wear. Much of the light rub, in fact, is confined to the obverse, but both sides are fully endowed with richly original lavender-copper patina. A handsome-looking AU with no detracting abrasions. Strike doubling is evident along Liberty's profile.
