1723 Rosa Americana Penny. Martin 2.5-Eb.1, W-1278. Rarity-4. AU-53 (PCGS). 130.9 grains. Generally attractive medium brown with traces of brass remnants in the protected areas. The strike is sharp for this later die state with a couple of minor cracks through the truncation and drawn legends. Each side has a single speck, easy to overlook given the high grade and attractive qualities.
