- Lot 356 1804 C-13 R1 Plain 4, No Stems PCGS graded AU58, CAC Approved.Frosty chocolate brown with two small puffs of lighter reddish steel brown toning in the field before the portrait. Satiny mint luster covers the fields and protected areas on both sides and this half cent has excellent eye appeal. No notable contact marks but a glass reveals numerous extremely tiny planchet flakes scattered over the obverse (as struck). The reverse is flawless. MDS, Manley state 2.0, with some dentils remaining visible on both sides. Our grade is AU50. PCGS #1063.Estimated Value $650 - UP Ex Douglas F. Bird-Bob Willoughby Collection.
