1882 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. WB-102. Misplaced Date. Proof-64 (NGC). Handsome surfaces are richly toned in a blend of steel-olive, charcoal-copper, mauve-gray, powder blue and champagne-pink. Close inspection with a loupe reveals the tops of two errant 8s in the denticles below the primary digits in the date. Proof mintage: 1,100 coins. PCGS# 6443. NGC ID: 27UH.
