1826 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-107. Rarity-3. MS-61 (PCGS). This pretty piece is awash in light silver-gray patina, both sides also revealing blended golden-copper iridescence that is bolder on the reverse. Satiny luster shines forth nicely as the coin rotates under a light, the in hand appearance exceptionally smooth for the assigned grade. Not all that far from Condition Census for the 1826 O-107 dies, this premium quality example is sure to catch the eye of astute Capped Bust half dollar enthusiasts.
