Lot Description

Dusted with silver-gray iridescence, both sides of this pretty piece also reveal subtle champagne-pink highlights as the surfaces rotate under a light. Luster is full in a blend of satin and softly frosted qualities, the fields even with faint semi-reflective tendencies. Both the sharpness of strike and carefully preserved surfaces are unusual in an example of this conditionally challenged issue. Our multiple offerings in this sale notwithstanding, this key date CC-Mint Morgan dollar issue is particularly elusive in sharply struck Choice and finer Mint State grades under normal market circumstances. This one will do nicely in an advanced collection.
