Lot Description

Undated (1815-1820) Washington Double-Head Cent. Baker-6, W-11200. Rarity-1. Plain Edge. AU-58 BN (NGC). Deep golden-brown surfaces reveal no marks of consequence to the unassisted eye, with low magnification revealing much the same scenario. Amazingly, the two portraits of Washington are somewhat different in execution; we find it interesting that the same punch wasn't used for both sides. Choice for the grade.
