- Lot 302 1838 N-11/13 R4 (as a die state) PCGS graded AU55.Glossy medium steel brown very delicately woodgrained with lighter steel brown. The surfaces are satiny smooth and nearly void of marks or other defects. A pair of thin parallel nicks left of the date and a single fine nick under the right point of star 7 are the only notable marks, and they are trivial. Rare LDS with a strong cud break left of star 1 that nearly touches that star. Not seen by Noyes. Our grade is EF45Choice and third finest known of the die state. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. PCGS #37210.
