1722/1-H French Colonies Sou, or 9 Deniers. La Rochelle Mint. W-11835. Fine-15. 97.4 grains. Even granular golden brown. Good detail on both sides, fairly well-centered, denticles present from 9 o'clock to 12 o'clock on obverse, reverse shows none but legends are essentially complete. Craige identified this as die marriage 10-J. The second 2 shows the merest stump of the 1 underdigit. PCGS# 158629. Provenance: From the Ted L. Craige Collection.
