Lot Description: An AMAZING POP TOP Cameo Proof 1862 Indian Head cent! WOW! The surfaces are the epitome of what a SUPERB GEM Proof should look like. Blazing mirrored brilliance radiates boldly in the fields. The devices are razor sharp with a rich frost that contrasts against the fields. Iridescent accents of honey-gold, golden-tan, and soft olive mix with swirls of orange that are splashed on the watery smooth surfaces. The surfaces are unmarred by any post minting issues, virtually flawless in every way; the only flaw worthy of mention, was produced at the mint, a tiny planchet flake at the obverse rim at 12:00 will serve as pedigree marker.
