1805/4 Draped Bust Half Dollar. O-102. Rarity-3. EF-40 (PCGS). This popular1805/4 overdate has pleasing iridescent and other toning, particularly on the reverse. The surfaces are average and close examination finds some minor hairlines and pin marks from circulation, as expected for this grade level. A rare coin to find this well preserved, as most of the overdate examples display much more wear than seen here. Later die state with an arcing crack through the second star and down through Liberty's bust, just right of the date.
