Lot Description

A scarce modern variety for the collector in a lovely original GEM state of preservation. Mostly red surfaces are richly patinated. Sharply struck, the doubled die features are bold and visible to the naked eye. PCGS 181, NGC 193. The last examples sold in 2019, realizing $360. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $500. Scarce finer in the designation. This is a fresh and pleasing GEM example of this popular issue. Cert. Number 42355633 PCGS # 2949
