- Boldly toned near gem! Superb red-gold-violet toning circles the periphery and highlights the central devices. In 1853 and continuing through 1855, Arrows were placed at the sides of the date to denote the slight reduction in weight of silver coinage (H10C, 10C, 25C, 50C), making this 3-year type highly popular with collectors. PCGS 12, NGC 13, CAC 5. Listed in the PCGS price guide at $2,250 and the CAC price guide at $2,300. Last auction records for a PCGS CAC coin were $2,100 in January 2020 and $2,400 in June 2018.
