Lot Description

1795 Washington Grate Halfpenny. Baker-29D, W-10950. Rarity-3. Small Buttons, Reeded Edge. EF-45 (PCGS). Deep chestnut brown and lightly circulated, this specimen is struck from the die state wit the large die breaks in the left obverse field. The Small Buttons type with Reeded Edge is much scarcer than the Large Buttons with the same edge type, making this well struck and attractive example perfect for the collector seeking a circulated set of early Washington coins and tokens.
