Lot Description

Struck during the last year of the Civil War to the tune of 500, this GEM Proof has a lovely navy blue, reddish-rose, and peachy-gold patination, the blue is especially vibrant on the reverse. Very nice eye appeal. PCGS 21, NGC 17. This coin sold for $1,645 the last time it sold in auction, and the current PCGS value is listed at $1,900.
