Beautiful iridescence is found on both the obverse and reverse and accompanied by thick, swirling luster. A sharply struck example with strong hair detail, feather detail and definition of all of the characteristics that define this variety. A small patch of hairlines is noted at the right of Liberty's neck, near stars 10-13, and this seems to be the only trait keeping this coin from a higher grade. A small planchet depression exists just below the cloud underneath the TE of STATES. A choice AU example that would fit perfectly into a high quality "type" set (PCGS # 6878) </B>. <BR>Estimated Value $8,000 - 9,000.
