1882 Liberty Quarter Eagle. MS-64 (PCGS). CAC. OGH. Though the Liberty Head quarter eagle series is replete with low mintage issues, they are often not easily found in the quality seen on many survivors of the 1882 mintage of just 4,000 pieces. Here is a near Gem example boasting satiny mint luster and a hint of prooflike flash on its intense orange-gold surfaces that host hints of pale copper-gold on the devices.
