Lot Description

Richly toned surfaces are awash in blended sandy-rose and steel gray. Nice overall detail for the assigned grade, the reverse is free of significant blemishes, although accuracy compels us to mention a pair of vertical pin scratches in the right obverse field. Among the 10 die marriages reported for this issue, the Browning-6 is one of the scarcest. The 2010 Rea-Peterson-Karoleff-Kovach census extends down to the VF-35 grade level, confirming the offered example in PCGS VF-25 as superior to most survivors.
