THE BOYLSTON COLLECTION, PART IV A CHOICE Mint State example. The 45-O is quite challenging in any Uncirculated grade. A pearly brilliant silver surface shimmers with a wonderfully bold luster. The devices have a nearly full, generally crisp strike with only minor weakness on the eagle's leg feathers. Likely dipped ages ago, there is a pearlescent hint of gold over the silver surfaces. The eye appeal is still quite nice. PCGS 9, NGC 5. The current PCGS Price Guide value is $4,000 and we would expect that this coin would bring close to that when the hammer falls. VERY RARE finer.
