- A mintage of only 429-thousand pieces nevertheless does not make 1910-D "rare" since so many were preserved from the time of manufacture. Reliably attractive, these tend to offer radiant luster and pleasing semi-matte texture, which is exactly the case here. Facial features have been strongly impressed by the dies, and neither side has become disturbed by any but the smallest of contact intrusions.
