- 1903 Morgan Silver Dollar. Proof-65 (PCGS).
Minimally patinated in pale iridescent gold, this flashy specimen allows ready appreciation of a universally brilliant finish from the dies. Fully struck, as befits the method of manufacture, with exceptional surface preservation for both the type and issue. Survivors from this 755-piece Proof issue are typically offered no finer than Proof-64, confirming the conditionally scarce nature of this lovely Gem example.
Provenance: From the Dr. James A. Ferrendelli Collection.
