1762-A Sou Marque. Paris Mint. Vlack-46. Rarity-4. First Semester. Double Struck. MS-61 (PCGS). 36.5 grains. Virtually full silvering with generally sharp striking detail, although the peripheral features on the obverse are somewhat obscured due to the mint error. The A mintmark is clearly discernible, but the date requires more patience. A lustrous and satiny piece with iridescent gold and, to a lesser extent, powder blue highlights.
