Lot Description

1864 Liberty Half Eagle. EF-40 (PCGS). An attractive EF example of this scarce date, with bold red-orange toning across the two sides. Lightly worn with scattered trivial marks and a small indentation just below E in UNITED on the reverse. This low-mintage issue of just 4,170 circulation strikes becomes rare at any grade level higher than EF. PCGS# 8296.
